Kumar Chivukula
Co-founder, CEO
Opsera was founded by Kumar Chivukula, an engineering leader who built and scaled software delivery at enterprise companies, including Adobe and Symantec.
Opsera is the Enterprise AI Software Factory, the AI Harness for the full software development lifecycle. Intent, context, governance, and human accountability from idea to production, from legacy estate to modern architecture, and from AI spend to measurable AI value.
Fortune 500 companies including Honeywell, Cisco, Sephora, Workday, Conduent, and Belcorp build faster, ship safer, and lower operational costs with proof of value on every AI dollar invested.

We disrupted ourselves before anyone else could.

2020 – The beginning
Opsera began before AI disrupted software development. In 2020, when Kumar set out to fix the part of software delivery that happens after the code is written: requirements, design, sign-off, build, test, sign-off again, compliance, deploy.
Nine to ten stages, six months, one release. Writing the code was never the hard part. Shipping it safely was. We called the goal code to cloud. So we built governance and visibility in from day one.
Within the first two years we filed patents on end-to-end visibility across the software pipeline, because you cannot govern what you cannot see. That became Unified Insights. Security and compliance checks ran at every stage. And we never asked anyone to rip and replace: your tools, your cloud, your stack.

Arrival of AI
Then AI arrived, and the industry celebrated 10x code generation. Nobody asked where the 10x went. Faster code was never the same as enterprise-grade software, and now ten times more of it was arriving at review, security and release, the stages nobody had fixed.
We had a choice: keep running the company that had worked for five years, or admit the ground had moved and rebuild on top of where it landed. We chose the second, before we had to.

Today – 200+ enterprise customers
We spoke with 200+ enterprise customers, went back to the drawing board, and built Forge: the enterprise software factory that turns legacy complexity and enterprise intelligence into governed, AI-accelerated software delivery.
Every enterprise should be able to compete on software.
Our mission
Help enterprises make their software estate AI-ready, then build AI-native software on top of it, so engineering teams can turn institutional knowledge into competitive context, ship with accountability, and prove the value of every modernization and engineering dollar invested.
Our vision
A world where every enterprise can compete on software: where the legacy estate is a source of AI advantage, not a maintenance burden; where AI amplifies human engineering instead of amplifying existing debt; and where the speed of modernization and the confidence behind delivery move together.
